The True Source Certified program is a globally recognised certification initiative administered by True Source Honey, a not-for-profit organization launched in 2010 to advance transparency across the honey supply chain. With more than 750 members, including beekeepers, honey importers, exporters and packers, an estimated 40% of honey sold in the United States and Canada is True Source Certified.
The program integrates auditing, traceability and authenticity testing protocols to help verify honey origin and purity, supporting industry efforts to address adulteration and strengthen confidence in global markets.

Intertek has supported the True Source Certified program since its launch in 2011, serving as its original certification partner. More recently, Intertek assumed responsibility for all auditing and load inspection activities in India.
